Confirmation Letter

• Hi !
  I've mailed my application for permanent residency about a month ago. I still haven't received the letter saying that they have it, or giving me a process number. Do you know how long it takes for them to send the "we've got you case and we'll be processing it" letter?

  it will take a while to receive the confirmation letter from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. I would say, expect it sometime in the next six months. (it could be tomorrow or in six months)
