Child with Dutch father

  If you are not married to the Dutch father, your son is not automatically Dutch.
  
  If the father recognized your son before 1 April 2003 or before he was born, he became Dutch automatically.
  
  Otherwise he should not recognize anymore, but you should proceed through the court to have a judge establish he is the father. In this case your son will also be Dutch.
