How are they generally accepted? Is it true you can't give birth in Dubai unless you are married? 15 Nov 2007, 04:09 Clara Masters

birthHow would they stop a woman giving birth?
If a girl and boy did this I suppose they would be made to marry well before the birth.umm-maryam 16 Nov 2007, 11:47 - Report

Single mum thinking of relocating to DubaiHaving attended school in Dubai in my teens, I am now a single mum with extensive secretarial/PA experience predominantly in the financial and legal sectors attempting to relocate to Dubai. I have been researching both accommodation costs and creche fees and while creche fees compare quite favourably to Ireland, accommodation seems quite expensive. Is all accommodation paid up annually as opposed to monthly? Any feedback/advice would be gratefully received. Anna 11 Feb 2008, 05:38 - Report

Single mums in DXBThere are single mums in Dubai, divorced with kids to raise, however, getting pregnant in Dubai without being married, you get punished by the law after the child's birth. The law is the law and we have to respect it or live elsewhere. Samia 23 Feb 2008, 10:24 - Report
