work permit and seeking a job

Hi i am currently in Hong Kong and currently looking for permanent or contract jobs in Switzerland. I am an UK citizen and i am not sure if i can work without work permit in switzerland. And I also would like to ask what kind of means are available for my jobs searching?? For example agents? I am currently an auditor specialised in banking and financial group with exposure in fund industry earlier.
