Finding a flat or apartment
in Innsbruck, Austria
Innsbruck is one of the most difficult places in Austria to get a flat, because the population outnumbers the amount of desirable accommodations. During one weekend, approximately 60 potential renters drifted through one landlady’s flat. Another 30 phoned with inquires about the ad she regretted having placed in the newspaper. The flat was small—about 50 square meters—but it was especially desirable because it offered a panoramic view of the city and was only five minutes to the city center by bus.
