New to kuwait.

My name is Sonia, I am from Australia. My partner and I are planning on moving to Kuwait in Feb 2009. We have a 9 yr old who will need to attend a good school - any ideas? I am curious to see if I could work part-time. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I have spent time working in Japan and as an expat in Malaysia. I am looking forward to experiencing the expat life in Kuwait.
