Dependent VISA for German
-
Hi, If and how you have to apply for a visa mostly depends on where you're from. If you're a citizen of an EU or EEA-country (such as Switzerland, Liechtenstein etc.) you will not need a visa at all. If you're a citizen of a country that is currently not a member of the EU and also are not eligible for EU-citizenship you will have to acquire one. Depending on your country of origin this will be necessary after 6 months (for citizens of the USA, Canada, Australia etc.) or on the spot. Visit http://www.handbuch-deutschland.de for further information (this website is hosted by the german Dept. of State). Anonymous 16 May 2006, 11:27 - Report
